Actor Mark Anthony Fernandez, nabbed along Angeles City for alleged possession of marijuana

ANGELES CITY, PAMPANGA, PHILIPPINES – Actor Mark Anthony Fernandez, famously known as one of the popular members of “Gwapings” and the son of late actor Rudy Fernandez and Alma Moreno, was nabbed along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Virgen de los Remedios for the alleged possession of one kilo of marijuana.

According to Supt. Sydney Villaflor, City Police Chief, Fernandez while inside his yellow Ford Mustang where the police allegedly found the pack of marijuana, had to be chased as he drove through the checkpoint in the area.

Fernandez, is currently being detained in Angeles City Police Station 6. The actor is now facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (Republic Act 9165).
