Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) invites Central Luzon residents to be part of its program, which encourages multi-sectoral partnership in the fight against criminality, corruption, and illegal drugs at the grassroots level.

“Mamamayang Ayaw sa Anomalya, Mamamayang Ayaw sa Iligal na Droga (MASA MASID) seeks to engage local stakeholders, volunteers, civic organizations, faith-based organizations, and the private sector in any of the following strategies: Demand Reduction through Advocacy and Education Campaigns, Supply Reduction through Information Gathering and Reporting, and Community-Based Rehabilitation Program (CBRP),” DILG Regional Director Florida Dijan said.

Suggested activities under Advocacy and Education include discussions through word of mouth; and conduct of seminars and forums to advocate anti-illegal drugs in the community.
